It was two hours and thirty-three minutes where the Italian player felt the weight of pressure (especially in the second set lost), but regained control when it mattered most, in the third set.
The impression is that Arnaldi knows well how to move within this tournament: he is not a surprise appearance like he might have been a year ago, but a credible presence who knows how to manage his serve in difficult moments.
🇱🇻 Ostapenko Annihilates Stefanini: Latvian in Form
Jelena Ostapenko overwhelmed Jasmine Stefanini 6-0 6-1 in a match where the Italian had no real chance to compete. The Latvian played tennis of sufficient quality to prevail without even pushing herself particularly hard, building points from the baseline with a solidity that rarely leaves openings.
