Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, announced on X that the Six Kings Slam has been postponed: the Riyadh exhibition, scheduled for October 21-24, will now be played December 27-30, 2026. Organizers cited logistical and organizational reasons.

The statement makes no mention of the attacks. The postponement does come after days in which Yemen's Houthis struck Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport several times. In the deadliest attack, on a passenger terminal, at least twelve people died and more than 300 were injured. The General Authority of Civil Aviation has extended the suspension of operations at the airport.

The third edition is expected to feature Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur and Learner Tien. The American takes the place of Jannik Sinner, who has already ended his season. The Italian won the first two editions, beating Alcaraz in the final in both 2024 and 2025, and each time the winner's prize was $6 million.

With the new dates, the exhibition leaves the end of October and lands in the winter break, a few days before the start of the 2027 season.
